Kinesiology
Our Health and Kinesiology Program offers students a comprehensive education with courses that cover topics such as anatomy, physiology, nutrition, exercise science, and sports medicine. Students are given the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, as well as the theory and practical application of personal/community health, drug use and abuse prevention, first aid, and athletic training. The program also provides students with a working knowledge of the kinesiology profession’s many fields and disciplines.
Degree Plan
This program provides students with the core curriculum and the basic knowledge of movement, health, and safety to allow opportunities at a 4-year institution.

Through Blinn’s partnership with the RELLIS Academic Alliance, you can earn your Associate of Science in Kinesiology and your Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, or Sport Management from Tarleton State all at Texas A&M-RELLIS in Bryan.

Kinesiology degree ranked one of the nation’s best online physical education programs
The Blinn College District Health and Kinesiology Program has been named one of the nation’s best online programs for the second time in as many months.
“These rankings reflect our commitment to providing students with a comprehensive education in the field of kinesiology,” said Dr. Shelly Peacock, Assistant Dean and Professor of Kinesiology. “We look forward to continuing to shape the future leaders in this dynamic field and are proud to stand among the nation’s best.”
Meet Kristen Westbrook
Blinn alumna Kristen Westbrook has turned her kinesiology degree into a career as Blinn's Coordinator of Campus Recreation, overseeing the College's 36,000-square-foot Kruse Center.
She said Blinn's Kinesiology Program opened her eyes to all the career opportunities available to kinesiology graduates. “It opened my eyes to other opportunities,” she said.
